We recognize the importance of having partners who share our commitment to the environment, and provide venues for us to tell our story and share best practices. As such, Office Depot is formally involved in a wide range of partnerships, including:

	Office Depot has been a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) since 2007. Office Depot also joined the LEED for Retail Prototype pilot, a program for retailers who plan to pursue certification across multiple locations, not just one. Office Depot received Gold LEED Certification for the Company's first "green" store in Austin, Texas and its prototype.
	Office Depot is the only1 office supplies company with membership in this leading group of institutional purchasers and suppliers committed to responsible procurement.
	Office Depot is the only1 office supplies company on the founding board of this initiative to help green county governments.
	Office Depot is the only1 office supplies company involved in the Business Roundtable's S.E.E. Change initiative, an effort led by CEOs of US firms to improve Society, the Environment and the Economy.
	Office Depot is the only1 office supplies company participating in the US EPA's partnership focused on reducing greenhouse gases through transportation innovations.
	Office Depot is a member of the US EPA's Climate Leaders program focused on tracking and reducing greenhouse gases.

	Office Depot is an Energy Star for Retail partner - committed to promoting energy efficient products.
	Office Depot is a founding member and the only office supplies company in Conservation International's Business & Biodiversity Council - a leading group of companies that works on biodiversity and climate-related efforts.
	Office Depot has a five-year partnership with Conservation International, NatureServe and The Nature Conservancy to develop forest information, standards and tools to support our environmental paper policy. Our $2.2 million funding of this partnership represents one of the largest corporate commitments ever to support sustainable forestry.
	Since 1995, Office Depot UK has been a member of this joint venture between the global charity and UK companies committed to reducing their impact on the world's forests by supporting certification and raw material source tracking.
